Rokytne, Rivne Oblast

Rokytne (Ukrainian Рокитне - to 1922 Охотникове / Ochotnykowe; Russian Рокитное / Rokitnoje, Polish Rokitno ) is an urban-type settlement and the seat of a Rajonsverwaltung in Rivne Oblast in Ukraine. The train station of Rokytne means Rokytne - Wolynske.

This small town was founded in the 1880s and is currently one of the major centers in the Rivne Oblast.

Until 1922, the city Ochotnykowe said. After she was previously in the government of Volhynia, in the Russian Empire, it came after the First World War in 1921 to Poland in 1927 and got its town charter in 1939 the settlement was incorporated into the Soviet Union and was classified to a urban-type settlement. After she was then occupied by Germany from 1941 to 1944 came the place after the end of World War II again with the Soviet Union and since 1991 a part of today's Ukraine.
