The Reunion Island International Airport (French: Aéroport de La Réunion Roland Garros, Eng. Earlier Gillot Airport ) is a commercial airport on the French island of Reunion off the East African coast in the Indian Ocean.

He is the main airport of the island. It is located about 10 km east of Saint- Denis on the northern tip of the island. Airport operator is the local Chamber of Commerce ( Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de la Réunion). The airport was named after the French aviation pioneer Roland Garros, who was born in 1888 in Saint- Denis.

Airport infrastructure

Airport infrastructure consists of a tower, two paved start and runways and a terminal. The airport is designed among other things, the type Airbus A340, Airbus A380, Boeing 747 and Boeing 777. ILS is available only for the web 14/32.
