Roland Kirchler

Roland Kirchler ( born September 29, 1970 in Innsbruck ) is a retired Austrian football player at the position of midfielder and was dated 17 October 2012 to 16 December 2013 Trainer of the Austrian Bundesliga club Wacker Innsbruck.

Career

Roland Kirchler began his career at the WSG Swarovski Wattens. His first stop was at the Bundesliga FC Swarovski Tirol, where in 1990 he signed a contract signed. His greatest successes came with FC Tirol Innsbruck, with which he has been 2000 to 2002 three times Austrian champion. During this time he came to two inserts 1993 and 1996 in the national team from 1999 to 2001 now also given regularly to train.

Until the bankruptcy and the Dissolution of the Red-Green 2002, it remained true to the Tyrolese, after a six-month trip to the Chinese Football League, he moved to SV Austria Salzburg. After one year in Salzburg, he moved to FC Superfund by Traun. After Roland Kirchler after his return to Austria from 2003 to 2005 then again was a regular in the national team, he moved to the start of the 2005/06 season for FC Red Bull Salzburg. After he barely had more inserts under Giovanni Trapattoni, he worked from spring 2007 for the SC Rheindorf Altach.

With the end of the 2007/ 08 Roland Kirchler got into coaching. Together with Robert Wazinger he served as player-coach, the athletic skill of Austrian Regionalliga side WSG Swarovski Wattens. In the 2008 / 09 season, the runner-up title in the Regionalliga West has been reached. From 2010 onwards, he was there only more active as a coach and also reached in the 2009/10 season the runner-up title. 2010/11 authorized the runner-up title to relegation matches for promotion to the First League second-rate, but the WSG Swarovski Wattens failed to Blau-Weiss Linz. In the season 2011/2012 he reached with the WSG Swarovski Wattens without losing the league title, but failed again in the relegation to promotion to the First League of tomorrow clearly on SV Horn in Lower Austria ( total score 1:9).

In October 2012, he was followed by Walter Kogler as head coach of FC Wacker Innsbruck. The first game under Kirchler won the FC Wacker 1-0 against SV Ried. It was the first victory of the Innsbruck after seven defeats in a row, the more victories against the SV Mattersburg, SC Wiener Neustadt (championship ) and Sturm Graz (Cup) followed. With the game against Wr. Neustadt was also entered into the red lantern to exactly this. In a memorable and very dramatic season finale, in which four teams were involved in the relegation battle, the Innsbruck won on 26 May 2013 following a seemingly hopeless 0-2 deficit to 3-2 in Wolfsberg and thus condemned the SV Mattersburg to descend, was still located after the 35th round in seventh place. In the closing stages of last season's game Roland Kirchler had the fourth official Mark Hameter but dealt a shock and was thus occupied on June 3 by the League Disciplinary Commission with a function lock for a month and also ordered to pay a fine of 10,000 euros, half of which was checked due to six months. The fall 2013 season was for the Innsbruck giants but little gratifying after 20 games Wacker had only a meager 16 points in the account. Therefore, the club dismissed Roland Kirchler on 16 December 2013.
