Roland Koch ( born October 28, 1952 in Osnabrück ) is a German football coach.

He completed his studies in physical education teacher at the Sports University in Cologne in 1982 as the top of his class with a grade of " very good". In recognition of his achievements he the August Beer plaque was it presented. During his studies in 1981 he was cooking the DFB football teacher's license.

Koch began his coaching career as a youth coach at FC Cologne 1. In the carriage Christoph Daum from assistant coach to head coach of the 1st FC Cologne in September 1986 Koch was his assistant.
