Roland Mack

Roland Mack ( born October 12, 1949 in Freiburg ) is a German entrepreneur.

Life

Mack grew up as the son of the entrepreneur Franz Mack in Waldkirch. From 1969 to 1974 he studied at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, general engineering, which he left with the conclusion engineer. As dies the business partner of his father in 1975, he enters the operating and founded with his father's Europa-Park in Rust. Since then, he passes this amusement park as a managing partner. He is also a shareholder of MACK Rides GmbH & Co KG Waldkirch.

1978 Mack was a founding member of the Association of German leisure companies. By 1983, he was there as a board member, 1984-1992 served as Vice President. For many years he has also been active in the World Association IAAPA, where he was appointed to the Board in 2008. From 2011 to 2012, he was the first German president of IAAPA.

Roland Mack was appointed " Ambassador of Europe for families " in April 2003. Since summer 2009, he committed himself to the social project we help Africa for the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa. He acts as an inspiration for the city city of Karlsruhe.

On the occasion of Mechanical Engineering 2013 Tags praised the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology benefits Macks for safe construction of rides with the honorary doctorate.

Roland Mack has been married since 1974 and has two sons and a daughter. His younger brother's name is Jürgen Mack
