Roland Maywald

Roland Maywald (* July 7, 1948 ) is a former German badminton player.

Maywald is one of the internationally most successful German badminton player. He comes from one of Germany's most famous badminton families. Siegfried 's father Maywald coined as an official German Badminton Sports sustainable. Ian Maywald continued in the new millennium continues the family tradition in the third generation. Roland Maywald even in 1970 the first international laurels won the bronze medal win at the European Championships. In 1972 he won together with Willi Braun the European title in the men's doubles.
