Roland Ramoser

Roland Ramoser ( born September 3, 1972 in Ritten ) is an Italian former professional ice hockey player who played sports in the Serie A1 during his playing career, including for the HC Milan, HC Bolzano and Renon.

Career

Roland Ramoser began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at SV Ritten, for the first team, he made his debut in Serie A1 in the 1989/90 season. In his rookie year, the attacker scored 25 goals in 32 games and had 16 assists. He then played one year each long for the Olympiques de Hull in the QMJHL and dieKamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League. As Kamloops in the 1991/92 season winning the double in Ed Chynoweth Cup and Memorial Cup, the winger played but only twice. He then got a contract with HC Milan in his native Italy, with which he masters each in 1993 and 1994. He could repeat with the HC Bolzano, with whom he also in the same year won the European Supercup this success in the 1994/95 season.

After a year at HC Gherdeina Ramoser received a contract with the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the 1996/97 season. This was followed by one and a half years with their league rivals Kassel Huskies and again at the Ice Tigers. After a total of four years in Germany the national team Ritten Renon - returned to his home club SV, in which 69 scorer points in 32 games, he was the leagues top scorer in 2001. Since 2002, the right-handed shooter stood again for the HC Bolzano on the ice, in which he now served as team captain. With the South Tyrolean he twice won the championship (2008 and 2009), three times the Coppa Italia ( 2003, 2007 and 2009), and also three times the Supercoppa Italiana ( 2004, 2007 and 2008). Beginning of August 2010 he moved to his hometown club Ritten Sport. After Ramoser had failed with the progress listeners in the 2010/11 season in the quarterfinals of the playoffs against the HC Valpellice he announced a few days later at a press conference the end of his playing career.

Internationally

For Italy Ramoser participated in the Junior C World Cup 1992, as well as the B World Championships in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2009 in part. In addition, he was in the squad of Italy to the A World Championships in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010, and at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and Nagano 1998.
