Rolando Schiavi
Rolando Schiavi Carlos ( born January 18, 1973 in Lincoln) is an Argentine footballer who was from 2011 to 2012 for the CA Boca Juniors under contract.
Club career
Schiavi started his career in a league with unterklassigen Argentino de Rosario before he joined Argentinos Juniors in 1995. Schiavi played six years for Argentinos, he then joined giants CA Boca Juniors. He completed 186 games for Boca 2001 to 2005 and scored 22 goals. Overall, he came up with 121 league inserts and thirteen hits. With Boca Schiavi winning seven titles, including two times the Argentine championship, as well as the Copa Libertadores 2003.
2006 sold the Boca defender for Spanish club Hércules CF for € 550,000. The guest performance, however, was short-lived because Schiavi soon returned to South America in 2007 and moved to Brazil to Gremio.
In the summer transfer window 2007 Schiavi went back to Argentina and hired at Newell 's Old Boys. On 2 November 2008, he scored the winning penalty in the 1-0 victory against Rosario Central in the Rosario derby.
On 22 June 2009 Newells ' Old Boys consented Schiavi loan deliver to Estudiantes de La Plata, for matches in the Copa Libertadores. Estudiantes Newell's paid for the agreement $ 100,000 including insurance and salary. Schiavi played in two semi-finals and the final. He managed to win the title with Estudiantes in the final.
International career
In September 2009, Schiavi was convened for the first time for the Argentine national team, as part of the qualifying match for the FIFA World Cup 2010 against Brazil. He made his debut as a substitute for Sebastián Domínguez in the 80th minute in the 0-1 defeat against Paraguay.
