Rolf Paetz

Rolf Paetz (* November 24, 1922, † 19 April 1994) was a German football player who has won as a player from Hannover 96 in 1954, the German football championship. The technician usually used as a half right in what was then the WM system graduated from 1952 to 1958 at Hannover 96 in the Football Oberliga Nord 127 league matches and scored 43 goals.

Career

With 31 years Paetz arrived for the season 1952/53, of Alder 08 from the Westphalian amateur football in the premier league team Hannover 96, the "Reds" had with Helmut " Fifi " Kronsbein committed a new coach and tried the Squad with other new items as Rolf Gehrcke, Herbert Help leg, Wolfgang Piechotta and Hannes Kirk to miss fresh air. In his last league season in 1957/58, the 35- year-old half striker came again on 18 missions in which he scored three goals. His last league game he played on March 30, 1958 in the 0-2 away defeat at Eintracht Braunschweig. He trained with Heinz Wewetzer the right wing.

Profession

The working originally as a fitter at Continental Paetz was active after the end of playing career first as an insurance agent, before he could take up a job in 1963 at the "Pelican " works in Hanover. From this time he was also active as 96 youth or amateur coach at his old club Hannover.
