Rolf Pettersson

Rolf Pettersson is a former Swedish orienteers.

Pettersson was three times world champion with the Swedish squadron during his career. He ran it in squadrons with Gunnar Öhlund, Bernt Frilén, Arne Johansson, Erik Johansson, Gert Pettersson, Kjell Lauri, Lars Lönnkvist and Björn Rosendahl. At the World Championships in 1976 in Scotland, he reached his best individual result with a second place behind Egil Johansen from Norway. In 1977, he finished second at the Nordic Championships behind Norwegian Sigurd Dæhli.

Rolf Pettersson won in 1973, 1976 and 1977, the Swedish Championship on the long distance, the 1976 championship in night - orienteering. With his club Hagaby GoIF he won in 1975 and 1976, the Tiomila.
