Rolf Sachs

Rolf Sachs ( born August 10, 1955 in Lausanne) is a Swiss artist and stage designer.

Rolf Sachs is the son of the industrial heir and photographer Gunter Sachs and his first wife Anne -Marie Faure. Sachs attended the boarding school Le Rosey in the canton of Vaud, where he and his coming from Tehran Mrs. Maryam Banihashem (born 1962 ) met and married in 1985. He studied from 1975 economics at the universities of London and San Francisco. Since 1984 he has worked as a furniture designer and since 2006 also as a stage designer. A large special exhibition of design objects that deal with German virtues, will be held in 2014 at the Museum for Applied Art in Cologne.

Since 1994, Rolf Sachs lives in London, where he founded his design studio rolf sachs fun c'tion.
