Rolf Schafstall

Rudolf " Rolf" sheepfold ( born February 22, 1937 in Duisburg ) is a former German football player and coach.

Career

As a player, he was active among others in the Football Oberliga West, the top division at that time, for Hamborn 07. In the Regionalliga Süd he played from 1963 to 1969 for the SSV Reutlingen 05

In the Bundesliga and the 2nd League, he coached from 1975 to 1994, the teams of MSV Duisburg, Karlsruher SC, Rot-Weiss Essen, Bochum and FC Schalke 04, Fortuna Dusseldorf, Bayer 05 Uerdingen, VfL Osnabrück, Stahl Brandenburg, Dynamo Dresden, Stuttgarter Kickers and Hannover 96 in the 2000/ 01 season, he returned briefly to VfL Bochum, but could not prevent the descent of the team from the 1st Bundesliga.
