Roll the Bones is the 14th studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush. It was released in September 1991.

Style

The album marks a departure from the previous style of the band in which dominated the synthesizer. The keyboards are mixed low, but the guitar is heard more clearly than on previous releases.

The song Where's My Thing? is the first instrumental piece of the band since the song YYZ from the album Moving Pictures.

Rush also integrated other genres, the title track contains rap shares. These are spoken in concerts of an animated skeleton on a canvas. Heresy treated the Berlin Wall in Germany.

Reception

Roll the Bones is more unpopular with fans and critics. Especially the poor production is criticized.
