Rolo

Rolo is a brand name of frustoconical chocolate with a caramel core. It is commonly produced by Nestlé in the U.S. However, since 1969. Under license from Hershey Company In the American version of the caramel is thick and tough and not continuously, as in other countries.

History

Rolos 1932 were developed and introduced in England. They came in 1952 under the brand Choc -o- Roll to Germany. In 1971, also in Germany renamed Rolo.
