Romagny (Haut-Rhin)

Romagny ( German Willern ) is a commune of 218 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Altkirch, for Canton Dannemarie and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Porte d'Alsace.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Romagny Burgundian Gate, about 15 kilometers west of Altkirch and 18 kilometers east of Belfort. In the south, the municipality borders the region of Franche -Comté.

Neighboring communities of Romagny are Valdieu - Lutran in the north, Manspach in the east, Chavannes -les- Grands in the south and Magny the southwest and west.
