Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Aracaju
The Archdiocese of Aracaju (Latin: Archidioecesis Aracaiuensis ) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese headquartered in Brazil Aracaju in Sergipe.
The diocese was founded on January 3, 1910 by Pope Pius X from the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia out. With the establishment of the two suffragan Estancia and Propriá by John XXIII. the diocese was elevated to an archdiocese.
