Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rabat

Located in Rabat Morocco Archdiocese (Latin: Archidioecesis Rabatensis ) was established on 2 July 1923 as Apostolic Vicariate of the Apostolic Vicariate of Morocco out and collected on 14 September 1955 Archdiocese name immediately. On July 5, 1954 parts of its territory were outsourced as Apostolic Prefecture of Spanish Sahara and Ifni.

The departure of European occupation led the archdiocese to a profound restructuring, like the other dioceses in North Africa as well. Rabat is a classic mission field of various religious communities, which also always ask the bishops of the diocese until today.
