The Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico (Latin: Sancti Joannis Archidioecesis portoricensis ) is a located in Puerto Rico Roman Catholic Archdiocese located in San Juan.

History

The Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico was established on August 8, 1511 Diocese of Puerto Rico and was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Seville. On November 21, 1924, the Diocese of Puerto Rico was renamed the Diocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico.

The Diocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico was posted on April 30, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Cum apostolicus to an archbishopric.
