The Archdiocese of Tarragona (Latin: Archidioecesis Tarraconensis; Catalan: Arquebisbat de Tarragona ) is an Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic church located in Tarragona in Catalonia.

History

According to tradition, the archbishopric of Tarragona was founded as a bishopric Tarragona in the 1st century and raised to an archbishopric in the 5th century.
