Roman Catholic Diocese of Abengourou

The diocese Abengourou (Latin: Dioecesis Abenguruensis ) is a location in the Ivory Coast Roman Catholic diocese based in Abengourou.

History

The diocese Abengourou was on 13 September 1963, Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Sacrum Consilium of annexations of the dioceses of the Archdiocese of Bouaké and Katiola and Abidjan. On 3 July 1987, the diocese Abengourou were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Bondoukou.

The diocese is the Archdiocese of Bouaké Abengourou a suffragan.
