The Diocese of Almenara (Latin: Dioecesis Amparensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Almenara, Minas Gerais.

History

The Diocese of Almenara was established on March 28, 1981 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quoniam omnis out of territory of the dioceses Teófilo Otoni and Araçuaí. It was the Archdiocese of Diamantina is a suffragan.
