Roman Catholic Diocese of Bacolod

The Diocese of Bacolod (Latin: Dioecesis Bacolodensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Bacolod.

History

The Diocese of Bacolod was born on July 15, 1932 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution ad Christ of annexations of the dioceses of Cebu and Jaro. On March 30, 1987, the Diocese of Bacolod were parts of its territory from establishing the dioceses of Kabankalan and San Carlos.

It is the Archdiocese of Jaro is a suffragan.

The Diocese of Bacolod includes the province of Negros Occidental.
