The Diocese of Beauvais (Latin: Dioecesis Bellovacensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in France with headquarters in Beauvais, extending over the area of the Oise. In March 2010, Jacques Benoit- Gonnin was appointed as successor to Jean -Paul James Bishop.

History

As the first bishop and founder of the bishopric in the 3rd century is the Holy Lucianus. The Bishop of Beauvais was one of the peers of France in the Middle Ages.
