Roman Catholic Diocese of Blois

The Diocese of Blois (Latin: Dioecesis Blesensis ) the Roman Catholic Church in France with headquarters in the city of Blois was founded on July 1, 1697.

After the Concordat between Napoleon Bonaparte and Pope Pius VII on 11 July 1801 was united with the diocese of Orléans. By royal decree, it was rebuilt in 1817, but the bishop's throne was occupied again in 1823.
