Roman Catholic Diocese of Caguas

The Diocese of Caguas (Latin: Dioecesis Caguana ) is a located in Puerto Rico Roman Catholic diocese based in Caguas.

History

The Diocese of Caguas was founded on November 4, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quod munus of cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico and Ponce of the diocese and the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico, is a suffragan. On 11 March 2008, the Diocese of Caguas were from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Fajardo - Humacao.
