History

The Diocese of Callao was founded on April 29, 1967 by Pope Paul VI. dispositionem built with the Apostolic Constitution Aptiorem Ecclesiarum out of territory of the Archdiocese of Cuzco and the Archdiocese of Lima, is a suffragan.
