Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlottetown

The Diocese of Charlottetown ( Latin: Dioecesis Carolinapolitanus ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic diocese based in Charlottetown.

History

The Diocese of Charlottetown was incorporated on August 11, 1829 by Pope Pius VIII with the Apostolic Constitution Inter multiplices out of territory of the Archdiocese of Quebec. It is the Archdiocese of Halifax- Yarmouth is a suffragan.
