Roman Catholic Diocese of Chulucanas

The diocese chulucanas (Latin: Dioecesis Chulucanensis ) is a located in the north- western Peru Roman Catholic diocese based in chulucanas.

History

The diocese chulucanas was on March 4, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Venerable Frater as Territorialprälatur chulucanas and the Archdiocese of Piura assumed as suffragan. On 12 December 1988, the Territorialprälatur chulucanas was elevated to a diocese by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quoniam praelaticia.
