The Diocese of Columbus (Latin: Dioecesis Columbensis ) is a located in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Columbus, Ohio.
History
The Diocese of Columbus was born on March 3, 1868 by Pope Pius IX. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and this is a suffragan. On 21 October 1944, the Diocese of Columbus were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Steubenville.
