Roman Catholic Diocese of Dapaong

The diocese Dapaong (Latin: Dioecesis Dapangoensis ) is the northernmost diocese in Togo, a bishopric in Dapaong.

The diocese was on 1 March 1960 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ex quo as Apostolic Prefecture Dapango from areas of the diocese Sokodé and on 6 July 1965 by Pope Paul VI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Quod universo to the diocese. In 1990, the diocese, the renaming of the city Dapaong following, its current name.
