Roman Catholic Diocese of Estelí

The Diocese of Estelí (Latin: Dioecesis Esteliensis ) is located in Nicaragua Roman Catholic diocese based in Estelí. It includes the three departments of Estelí, Madriz and Nueva Segovia.

History

With the Apostolic Constitution Supremi muneris founded by Pope John XXIII. the diocese on December 17, 1962 from cessions of territory of the diocese of León de Nicaragua.
