Roman Catholic Diocese of Fushun

The Diocese of Fushun (Latin: Dioecesis Fuscioenensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Fushun in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded with the Breve Nos Admonet the Apostolic Fushun Prefecture on February 4, 1932 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Shenyang. On February 13, 1940, she was elevated to the rank of Apostolic Vicariate.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese. In 1981, with the restoration of the legitimacy of the cults in China, the State Council of the People's Republic of China has the dioceses Fushun, Jinzhou and Yingkou united with the Archdiocese of Shenyang Liaoning archdiocese.
