Roman Catholic Diocese of Gozo

The Diocese of Gozo (Latin: Dioecesis Gaudisiensis ) was founded on 22 September 1864, and has its headquarters in Victoria. It covers the whole island of Gozo.

Bishop from 1972 until his resignation for reasons of age on 26 November 2005 Nikol Cauchi J.. His successor Mario Grech was appointed, who was previously vicar at the diocesan and parish priest in court Kerċem.

Episcopal Church is the 1716 consecrated Cathedral of the Assumption in the Citadel of Victoria.
