Roman Catholic Diocese of Kayes

The Diocese of Kayes (Latin: Dioecesis Kayesensis ) is a location in Mali Roman Catholic diocese based in Kayes.

History

The Diocese of Kayes was on June 12, 1947 Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Perutile visa from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Bamako as Apostolic Prefecture of Kayes. On July 6, 1963, the Apostolic Prefecture Kayes was by Pope Paul VI. applicable to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Bamako is a suffragan.
