Roman Catholic Diocese of Kibungo

The diocese of Kibungo (Latin: Dioecesis Kibungensis ) is a location in Rwanda Roman Catholic diocese based in Kibungo.

History

The diocese Kibungo was on September 5, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. sanctam built with the Apostolic Constitution Ecclesiam out of territory of the Archdiocese Kabgayi. The diocese Kibungo announced on November 5, 1981 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Byumba.

The diocese is the Archdiocese of Kigali Kibungo a suffragan.
