Roman Catholic Diocese of Kitale

The Diocese of Kitale (Latin: Dioecesis Kitalensis ) is a location in Kenya Roman Catholic diocese based in Kitale. It includes the districts of Trans Nzoia and West Pokot in the Rift Valley province.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Magis in this April 3, 1998 through cessions of territory of the Diocese of Eldoret and it was the Archdiocese of Kisumu assumed as suffragan. Since the establishment of the local Ordinary Maurice Anthony Crowley PLC.
