Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette in Louisiana
The Diocese of Lafayette (Latin: Dioecesis Lafayettensis ) is a location in the U.S. Roman Catholic diocese based in Lafayette.
It was established on 11 January 1918 cession of territory of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and this is a suffragan. The Diocese of Lafayette has submitted 1980 establishing areas of the Diocese of Lake Charles on January 29.
