Roman Catholic Diocese of Malindi
The Diocese of Malindi (Latin: Dioecesis Malindiensis ) is located in Kenya Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church. Seat of the Diocese of Malindi is about 100 kilometers north of Mombasa on the Indian Ocean coast.
History
The Diocese of Malindi was established on 2 June 2000 by Pope John Paul II made cessions of territory of the Diocese of Garissa and the Archdiocese of Mombasa out a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Mombasa.
