Roman Catholic Diocese of Mbulu

The Diocese of Mbulu (Latin: Dioecesis Mbuluensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic diocese based in Mbulu.

History

The Diocese of Mbulu was posted on April 14, 1943 by Pope Pius XII. cessions of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate Apostolic of Dodoma Prefecture and Kilimanjaro built as Apostolic Prefecture of Mbulu. On 10 January 1952, the Apostolic Prefecture of Mbulu was Pius XII. elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Mbulu was born on March 25, 1953 by Pius XII. raised to the bishopric. The Diocese of Mbulu announced on March 25, 1972 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Singida.
