The Diocese of Nevers (Latin: Dioecesis Nivernensis ) is a located in France Roman Catholic diocese based in Nevers.

History

The Diocese of Nevers was built in the 4th century and the Archdiocese of Sens is a suffragan. On 29 November 1801, the diocese of Nevers was dissolved and the area was annexed to the archbishopric of Bourges. The Diocese of Nevers was established on October 6, 1822 by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution Paternae charitatis again. On 16 December 2002 the diocese of Nevers was the Archdiocese of Dijon is a suffragan.
