Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg

The Diocese of Ogdensburg (Latin: Dioecesis Ogdensburgensis ) is a location in New York in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Ogdensburg.

History

Pope Pius IX. founded it on February 15, 1872 from annexations of the Diocese of Albany. It was the Archdiocese of New York assumed as suffragan.

Territory

The Diocese of Ogdensburg includes the County's Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence and parts of Hamilton and Herkimer, New York.
