The Diocese of Orlando (Latin: Dioecesis Orlandensis ) is a located in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Orlando, Florida.

History

The Diocese of Orlando was born on March 2, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Cum Ecclesia out of territory of the Archdiocese of Miami and the Diocese of Saint Augustine and the Archdiocese of Miami is a suffragan. On 16 June 1984, the Diocese of Orlando gave parts of its territory to the founding of the dioceses Palm Beach and Venice.

The Diocese of Orlando includes the state of Florida located in areas Brevard County, Lake County, Marion County, Orange County, Osceola County, Polk County, Seminole County, Sumter County and Volusia County.
