Roman Catholic Diocese of Osorno

The Diocese of Osorno (Latin: Dioecesis Osornensis, Spanish: diócesis de Osorno ) is a diocese located in Chile of the Roman Catholic church located in Osorno.

History

The Diocese of Osorno was born on November 15, 1955 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Papal Bull Christianorum qui in diocesibus of annexations of the dioceses Puerto Montt and Valdivia. It is the Archdiocese of Puerto Montt is a suffragan.
