Roman Catholic Diocese of Pavia
The Diocese of Pavia (Latin Dioecesis Papiensis, Italian Diocese of Pavia ) is a diocese located in Italy, the Roman Catholic church located in Pavia.
The diocese was founded in the 1st century. It became the first diocese in the Western Church, the exemption (710-1803) from the Metropolitan Association. Today, it is, as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Milan.
