Roman Catholic Diocese of Rapid City
The Diocese of Rapid City (Latin: Dioecesis Rapidopolitana ) is a located in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Rapid City, South Dakota.
History
The Diocese of Rapid City was founded on August 4, 1902 by Pope Leo XIII. built out of territory of the Diocese of Sioux Falls diocese as lead and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, is a suffragan. On August 1, 1930, the diocese was renamed the Diocese of Lead, Rapid City.

The Diocese of Rapid City includes the areas in the state of South Dakota, that of the Missouri River are located to the west.
