The Diocese of Saint Petersburg (Latin: Dioecesis Sancti Petri in Florida ) is a located in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
History
The Diocese of Saint Petersburg was founded on March 2, 1968 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Cum Ecclesia out of territory of the Archdiocese of Miami and the Diocese of Saint Augustine and the Archdiocese of Miami is a suffragan. On 16 June 1984, the Diocese of Saint Petersburg were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Venice.
