Roman Catholic Diocese of Sanyuan

The Diocese of Sanyuan (Latin: Dioecesis Saniuenensis ) is a located in the People's Republic of China Roman Catholic diocese based in Sanyuan.

History

The Diocese of Sanyuan was posted on November 1, 1931 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ut aucto of annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Apostolic Prefecture Sian as Sanyuan. The Apostolic Prefecture Sanyuan was on 13 July 1944, Pope Pius XII. with the Apostolic Constitution Congruum opportunumque elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Sanyuan was posted on April 11, 1946 by Pius XII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos to the diocese and the Archdiocese Sian is a suffragan.
