Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon

The Diocese of Saskatoon (Latin: Dioecesis Saskatoonensis ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic diocese based in Saskatoon.

History

The Diocese of Saskatoon was taken on June 9, 1933 as a result of the division of the Diocese of Prince Albert Saskatoon and was by Pope Pius XI. the Archdiocese of Regina placed under the Apostolic Constitution Ecclesiarum omnium suffragan. On 14 September 1998 the diocese of Saskatoon were annexed the territories of the defunct Diocese of Gravelbourg and the dissolved Territorial Abbey of Saint Peter- Muenster.
