Roman Catholic Diocese of Shunde

The Diocese of Xingtai (Latin: Dioecesis Scioenteanus ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Xingtai in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Shunteh 1933 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Zhengdingfu. On January 13, 1944, she was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese. Bishop Hou Jinde, who died in 1994, is named after the first Catholic non-profit association, the by-catch Jinde, which was recognized by the Chinese government.
