Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse
The Diocese of Syracuse (lat.: Dioecesis Syracusensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church. It was taken on November 26, 1886 the Diocese of Albany and charged at a separate diocese.
The diocese covers the areas Broome County, Chenango County, Cortland County, Madison County, Oneida County, Onondaga County, Oswego County.
Episcopal Church of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral ( Immaculate Conception). It was built in 1874 as St. Mary's Church and rededicated after renovations, additions and construction of the tower in 1910 as a cathedral.
